The Park Carrickmines, is a modern mixed retail and office development built near the M50 in Dublin. The Herbert Building is the flagship office block of the development. This office complex uses one 1Mw Air Cooled Aermec high efficiency chiller to supply chilled water to 4 pipe fan coils on each of the floors. Fresh air is supplied by 2 no. Aermec NCT15 AHU’s (28,800 m3/he each) with run around heat recovery coils between the extract AHU’s (25,920 m3/hr each) and supply AHU’s.
These AHU’s also have a frost coil (LPHW) and cooling coil (CHW) to temper and dehumidify the fresh air before it gets to the fan coils.
The toilet areas air is extracted by a twin fan Aermec AHU (Duty/Standby fans and motors) with airflow of 7,560m3/hr. All the equipment is located at roof level.
