Comfort cooling generally is used by small commercial and retail units. Comfort cooling is usually achieved by ‘split type’ air conditioning units. These consist of various different styles of ‘indoor units’ coupled with outdoor condensers that contain a compressor and system controls.
This type of units is usually used for single room cooling, but ‘multi-splits’ can be achieved. Up to four different indoor points from the same condenser are possible. Typically used in shops, homes and small offices, the indoor and outdoor unit are connected by two small refrigerant pipes.
